Scoring stack size
One of the best ways to identify fish without any history is to look for people who buy in for less than the max. For example, I'd love to be able to assign a higher score to people with a stack in the range of 40-80 BB.
A related idea would be to allow the same fish to be scored differently based on his stack size. An 85% vpip may be mildly intriguing with 20bb, but drop-everything exciting with 500bb. Also, It'd be nice to be able to give a higher score to fish at higher stakes. Same idea.. A fish with 50bb at 2/4 may not be very exciting, but put the same guy at 10/20 and I'd want to jump in immediately. |

The first two ideas are already available
Simply choose # of Big Blinds in the Fish/Scoring condition "Statistic" dropdown and enter the min and max bb. You can accomplish your goal in the player scoring in two different ways: One, you could make seperate rules like - VPIP 30-40 AND # of Big Blinds 0-40 = +5 - VPIP 30-40 AND # of Big Blinds 40-80 = +10 - VPIP 30-40 AND # of Big Blinds 80-120 = +20 etc.. Another way, which is a bit more efficient, but maybe not as customizable, would be to just subtract from players scores based on their BB, so it would look like - VPIP 30-40 = +10 - VPIP 40-50 = +20 - VPIP 50-100 = + 40 - # of Big Blinds 0-40 = -20 - # of Big Blinds 40-80 = -10 etc The scoring by stake I think would be a lot of work, but how about this, I add a "# of Chips" condition to the player scoring rule conditions, that way you could score based on the exact # of chips instead of BB, something like this: - VPIP 50-100 AND # of Chips 100-400 = +20 - VPIP 50-100 AND # of Chips 400-1000 = +40 - VPIP 50-100 AND # of Chips 1000-2000 = +100 etc |
